You're probably not pointing it to the right folder if it worked in the old pcsx2.
Okay you need to use the plugin instead of the ISO, just look around on PCSX2 0.9.7 you'll see it, once you do that you won't get that CDDVD error message.. oh and you should use Linuz 0.9.0 because Gigaherz is for virtual drives or real CD/DVD drives.
The message on the screenshot happens when the image is mounted an seen by the plugin but "Iso" is selected in the GUI instead "Plugin".
Actually you don't need the CDVD plugin anymore with the beta version. It mean you don't need to mount it in virtual drivers anymore, and actually Must not. Unmount it, make cdvdGigaherz points to "No disc", now return to "CDVD" in the GUI -> Iso Selector -> Browse and select the ISO from there.

Once it's done just start the game normally by Boot CDVD (fast).

But, before doing all this, I strongly advise you uninstalling the game from that Program Files folder and install it elsewhere, like C:\PCSX2 or create a C:\Games and install it there. That is valid for any game you install from now on. The Program Files is a specially protected folder known to create all kind of issues and problems for many games, all related with permission rights, forcing to run as The Administrator, Disabling UAC and all things that negates the security the protection should bring to the folder, actually worsening it ten folders.
