hi, I am complete noob here so i would like to ask 2 question really quick.

1: will it run on:
i5-450m(2.44Ghz, Max Turbo 2.66Ghz(btw idk how to use the max turbo so if someone could explain it to me it would be nice))
4GB DDR3(1066Mhz)
ATI Radeon Mobility 5730 1GB DDR3

2: can someone give me a specific or somewhat accurate guide on what settings(plug-ins) to use?

PS: yes, it is a laptop and i doubt it will overheat, because i have been playing games all day at max and it runs cool. Also I saw shadows of the colossus on my local store for $15 and i am wondering if i should buy it and play it legit, since people say it is a great game.What do you guys think?

it may be a bit weak for Shadow of the Colossus (both CPU & GPU). It'll run, but slowly.

It depends on the game you wanna play, the turbo boost is automatic and boost's the cpu speed when its under load and goes back down afterwards to save battery

How about checking out the "configuration guide", use the 0.9.7 beta though and the plugins that follows with it

I followed the guide, but i got stuck on the CPU(settings) part since i can't seem to find it could you pls help me with that. XD It says to go to Config-CPU, but i don't see that on my emulator

the Config-CPU is not present in the new GUI
btw what do u want to config anyway?

Following the guide that was posted above I was able to pick the plug-ins that match my computer specs, but I wasn't able to configure the CPU itself, because the options seems to be lacking in the new Emulator, therefore I would like to ask if there is a way in which this can be done.

there is no need to be done.... its made to work better now. and only use the 0.9.7 and the plugins that comes with it

yeah there's nothing u can do bout it..
works wonders but i think SOTC won't achieve a decent speed with that rig..
depends of what did u define as 'decent' that is..

here's some settings in speedhacks for SotC, they're not perfect, but I've managed about 40fps with them

edit: one of the 3 microVU hacks isn't in the beta, if it isn't in your options, ignore it from mine

never known bout the 3 microVU hacks..
just the 2 only..
