Will my backed up ps2 games run good on these specs for my pc?
Graphics card Nvida Geforce 8600 gts.
processor AMD Athlon, 64 Processor 3400+ 2.40 ghz
ram 2 gb

However... no sorry. Single core processor with low clock speed... you may be able to get a few 2D games running well enough but that's about it.

Maybe, doubt it'll help. You really want a new PC if you want to play your games well enough.

What games are you trying to run anyway?

Smackdown here comes the pain. do u think it will work at full speed.

Not even close, you need a strong CPU for that games as far as I remember. Doubt you'll get even half speed.

SvR needs at least a 2.8 dual (by estimation) to run properly. my 2.2 plays it, but very slowly, even with hacks
