Both Windows Vista/7 have access to DX 9/10/11 so it wouldn't make a difference. The card is the one that is limited anyway (no shaders 5.0 on DX10 cards for example) so why shouldn't it be detected by graphics card?

8600GT is a DX10 card, DX11 is completely compatible with DX10 cards, the only exception being you can't do Tessellation or Raytracing, which neither will be used in PCSX2 anyway. Try running the Heaven DX11 demo, i bet you any money it works (tried it on my GTX 280 DX10 card, it runs fine, just Tessellation disabled)

On Windows 7 x64 Ultimate with a Geforce 465 GTX.

I don't think DirectX11 will be supported by GSdx, till the logo of GSDX11 has been exposed.

Behold the logo of GSdx with your DirectX11 Card, I guess the logo's still GSDX10.
It says DX11, but has a DX 10 logo, my guess is that Gabest is too lazy to make a DX 11 logo.
Gabest didn't even work on the dx11 conversion Wink
If you want to create a new logo go ahead though.
If it fits, we'll use it.
