like the title says, im new to this stuff.
do you need the .iso AND .elf file to run it?
because I have a .iso file for kingdom hearts 2 in my bios folder. I configured for the program to look for this particular file in the
config/cdvdrom section and i found my iso file and entered it beside the "select iso" button.
The error I always get is
"The specified Bios was not found. A Bios is required for pcsx2 to run."

No, you need the BIOS as the message clearly states.

The Bios file will have an .elf suffix, correct?
I converted the file to a .iso, is there any way i can change it to a bios file? Or better yet, can i somehow get my emulator to read .iso?

No it won't.
What do you mean you converted the file to an iso? Which file?

You get the BIOS from your ps2, its basically the core of the ps2 software. The .iso file you are trying to run is the GAME. Seriously read the faq it contains the information you need.
