Hi,
I'm running an AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual core processor 4200+ 2.20 ghz
and a Nvidia Geforce 7500 LE on Windows 7 Ultimate and on pcsx2 0.9.6 I'm trying to run Dragon Quest VIII but when i run pcsx2 before the game loads pcsx2 shows me this error: "This cpu does not support SSE 3.01" and after:
"An unhandled or unrecoverable exception occurred, with the message:
The GS plugin failed to open/initialize.
Pcsx2 will now close. More details will be via the emuLog.txt file"

So I can't play this game, I want to know if there is a solution to this problem,
thanks.

Here there is the emuLog.txt:

It's SSSE3 not SSE3
Code:
Not Detected SSSE3
Your CPU don't support the GSdx plugin version(SSSE3)that you are trying to use...switch to SSE2 and try again

Thanks, i'll try.
I got the same error but I have 5200+ X2 and it says it supports SSE3, but why does the SSE3 plugin not work? It suppose to do.
because it doesn't support SSSE3 (notice the extra S), even so the SSE2 plugin will work better on most AMD processors.
SSSE3 for AMD is only for AMD-FX and Intel's C2D.C2Q.Intel-i,PDC and Sandy Bridge Pentiums
