So I just had my windows 7 freshly installed on the pc.^_^ Anyway, I backed up the memcards folder of my pcsx2(the one on xp). Question is, can I set the memorycard directory to that folder, and will the pcsx2 still load the memory card contained in that folder?
Just copy them back to the /memcards folder of PCSX2 and it will read them fine

Yes, you can just set the memcard folder to where you backed up the memcards.
This is also a question about mem cards, but in 0.9.7 i cant select memcards, all i can do are create new ones. Is there a way to select other memory cards?
You can either change the name of the memcards in the pcsx2.ini file or select a new folder where other Mcd001.ps2 and/or Mcd002.ps2 are for now.
Ah ok. Ill make folders for each game instead of memcards for each one then
