I'm having trouble finding plug-ins that make the emulator run smoothly.

Here is the log that PCSX2 gave me:

the default ones.
now, depending on the game you're trying to run, it may be a bit slow since your CPU isn't optimal for pcsx2

you are lacking info on your rig

what is your video card and your OS.

that CPU may run smoothly w/ 2D games.

I'm running Windows XP on a NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 video card.

quite a weak GPU, then
enable native res in gsdx options
