For some reason this game just refuses to run at 50+ fps at 900p and can get a bit unplayable at 1080p. All of my other games like FF10 and P3 run fine but this one gets real choppy. Is there anything I can do or am I stuck at lower resolutions?

System Specs:
i7 930 @ 3.8
Crossfired 5850s
Creative Fatality Sound Card

Using default settings + played with speed hacks some but nothing mattered, its either fine or a lags a bit.

Any other ideas?

btw changing the interlacing settings gave me like 10 fps, why is that?

What version of PCSX2 are you using and what are your settings, because I am using 9.7 beta and I am getting a constant (or almost constant) 60 fps. And that is with 4x scaling in GSDX.
EE cycle hack set to 2, INTC, wait loop and mVU flag hack enabled.

I've seen people in youtube getting 60fps in Rogue Galaxy in HD, I can reach 60fps but always in native resolution because of my video card . YOu should be fine with your video card and Cpu
