I am using PCSX2 0.9.7 beta
when i play any PS2 iso..the command prompt box(which displays messages) shows an error...."could not save to pcsx2.ini access denied"

whats the use of pcsx2.ini ? When i searched for it in the respective folder
it was not there,is it a hidden file?

It's in the inis folder...try rinning pcsx2 as admin.

Not a bug , classic permissions problem. Install PCSX2 to a new folder like C:/PCSX2 (and make sure in the first time installer you don't choose user documents to save the inis but working folder)
