it works on my toshiba qosmio but at a noticeable slowdown (the help desk voice sounds streched out like a 40 year old stutterer named dave). the movies play incredibly slow, and ratchets model got miced up a couple times. and the game looks like a 256 colour pallete. it works though.
Speed is not a bug.
as for the colour pallete issue, that is actually a MIPMAPing problem, which isnt easy to solve due to the complexity of GSDX.
