Hello, PCSX2 forums. I'm a new guy, so please don't bash on me to hard if I screw something up.

Whenever I try to run a game, pcsx2 will crash, and will get the message "pcsx2-r3878.exe has stopped working".

The game I am running is Tekken 4, from the disc.
Plugins:
GS: GSDx 3693 (MSVC 15.00, SSE2) 0.1.16 [gsdx-sse2-r3878]
PAD: Lilypad svn (r3878) 0.10.0 [lilypad-r3878]
SPU2: ZeroSPU2 r3979-Dev 0.4.6
CDVD: CDVDNull Driver 0.6.0

PC SPECS:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz
RAM: 3 gb
GPU: Nvidia 8400 GS
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit

I have tried using different plugins, and I still get this error message.
Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: I am using 0.9.7 if that helps
PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings? Do you get any kind of error on the console log windows? maybe check in the emulog.txt file after you get that crash if you can't see it.
I use these plugins

If it doesn't work I need to know: exactly when does the error appear?
This might help:

seems tekken 4 has regressed in the latest beta.
I suggest patience Mellow
CDVD: CDVDNull Driver 0.6.0

you may have more success using peops cdvd or gigaherz cdvd. however as mentioned, the last beta was regressed, the SVN still is and i dont know how to fix it currently Tongue

Different problem, Tekken 4 will run up to the menus and fail going ingame but there are patches for that, this problem is getting "pcsx2-r3878.exe has stopped working" when trying to run it, different thing.

I guess you are right. I assumed that, since tekken4 does not work correctly, then it might cause other problems too.
Wrong assumption. My bad.
