My specs:
i7-950 OCed to 4.0ghz
HIS 6870
6GB of RAM DDR3

Is the pcsx2 able to use the 6870 since it's a pretty new gpu?

You'll be able to play pretty much anything at full speed. And your graphics card is great.

best to try it hope there is no slowdown in hallow baston...if there is a slowdown there simply set Clamping mode to "none" in the Emulation Settings.

is your i7 desktop don't have any slowdowns around Hallow Baston(Radiant Garden)??

Those specs are among the greatest out there. If you can't play a particular PS2 game with that, odds are no one can.

PCSX2 should never have a problem with new graphics cards. If anything, it would be a driver problem or something that causes problems in general, not just with PCSX2.

That's good, I thought that since it was a new gpu it wouldn't work good with it.

ive been to hollow bastion (the first time you go there fight with leon vs nobodies) and no slowdowns of any kind, the only game i dont get max flps is SVR11 on dolphin while playing 6 vs 6 match, i get about 57/58 flps very constant wont drop lower or higher, could be that the game is not fully compatible with dolphin yet.
