I've already gone through various posts for Tekken 4 configurations, but in-game I am still getting a slow 30-40 fps. When my character punches its really slow. Is there anything I can do to get it up to normal speed or at least a constant 50 fps?

my computer specs:
AMD Athlon X2 @ 2.66 GHz
3 GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia 9600 GSO 768 mb
windows xp sp 2

EDIT: I downloaded beta 0.9.7 and it wont let me load my iso for tekken 4 it says error >:[
Also, do you need vista for dx 10 version of gsdx plugin? Thanks in advance.

What error exactly do you get in 0.9.7?

the game boots up, and works until the menu shows up. I can move up and down the menu and select modes, but when i select a mode, the screen just goes black. I thought it was loading, but it just stays there.
