Simple problem: At the beginning of the game, when i try to enter "OFF CAMPUS" for the first time, the screen goes black and..nothing more happens..
I'm using PCSX 3876.

(hardware elements are OK)

Try with the stale PCSX2 0.9.6.

This is fixed in more recent versions of the emulator, should be sorted in the next release. However as Shadow Lady said, it might be alright in 0.9.6
