Hello,
I am trying to run pcsx2 0.9.6 with the zeroGS graphics plugin... but it crashes when I try to load a game. It doesn't do this with gsdx9, in any version. I have tried all different versions of ZeroGS KOSMOS, from 0.96.0 to 0.97.1, but it crashes every time. It is important that it be ZeroGS instead of gsdx9- I am trying to run a program along with it that rips models from emulators (but requires that I use ZeroGS in order to rip the model files- gsdx9 is for textures).

Any ideas? Thanks
if you downloaded a lot of things for pcsx2,and you dont know what are you doing (like me) it crushes,so uninstall pcsx2 and uninstall again.it will help you
Does it happen with all games? What does the emulog.txt say after a crash?
Thanks for the quick reply-
I only use one game right now, for the reason I mentioned (ripping models).
It does it everytime, but not when I use gsdx9...

It doesn't seem to have any error messages that would match the problem... But I did find out that ZeroGS is designed for graphics cards with pixelshader 2.0 capability. I think that may be the problem- but is there a way to get around that?
Thanks
I suggest you use at least PCSX2 0.9.6 and it's possible the game you're trying to run just won't work with ZeroGS, which game is it?
I do have version 0.9.6, but it does the same thing on that, with the same log info. The game is Shinkon Gattai Godannar. If it is true that ZeroGS doesn't work with this game, are there any other plugins available that would allow for mesh ripping? gsdx9 is only good for texture ripping. Maybe there is a plugin available that has a model ripping function? I have heard of one somewhere, but I never found out what it was called or where to find it.
You still there? what have you found?
As I mentioned before it's possible the game just won't work with ZeroGS, you could try the GSdx that comes with the latest beta if anything. None of the plugins has an internal model ripping feature.

Thanks for the help, I figured it out. I will not be able to run this emulator in the sense that I can rip models from it, but I can still enjoy playing games I would never be able to afford or play on an actual playstation 2. After all, that's what this is all about, is it not?

cute avatar, by the way, Shadow Lady.
It's not... The point is to be able to play games you OWN on a high res monitor and be able to use cheats and save states... The emulator is not about piracy.
