hi,

I have two games that will not work with my PCsx2 0.9.6
The games are: Gran Turismo 4 & WRC Rally Evolved

The isos are from Nero so they .nrg
R-type final works and tekken5 as wel.
GT4 & WRC won't work.

with GT4 it starts up and you it loads the first disclaimer screen fine
then it loads the second disclaimer then its stuck.
It this time it just flashes the text.

with WRC it wont go on after the ps2 logos
on the console it says:
branch 19a0000d in delay slot!
branch 19a0000d in delay slot!
branch 19a00010 in delay slot!
branch 19a00010 in delay slot!
branch 19a00047 in delay slot!
branch 19a00047 in delay slot!
try latest pcsx2 public beta
thanx will try
Also try making your ISOs with ImgBurn next time.
NRG is a raw format iirc, it shouldn't have any problems in the pcsx2 reader.
from my past experience, Nero has compatibility issues with... Nero images from newer versions, much alike MS-Office documents...

PS: My advice to everyone who ask me is always: Stay away from software which can't read their own formats in all versions.
i don't even consider nero 8+ worth using.

Problem would be the application that made the .nrg to begin with, ImgBurn is much more reliable at making PS2 game images.
nero 7 (nrg), ImgBurn, Alcohol, CloneCD, all these work fine with pcsx2 that i've tested
Alcohol has had problems before for some users, ImgBurn worked fine in those cases. CloneCD I believe is best for CD PS2 games, not so much for say DVD9 games however. Nero is not that great for some reason, we usually get complains with nero made images and then working fine with images made by other rippers. Overall DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn are the most reliable so far yet not flawless, anyway ImgBurn is the recommended to use.
