Laptops are notoriously bad for pcsx2 for 2 main reasons...
#1: Laptops generally have pretty low specs. Your laptop is a prime example of this. PCSX requires a 3ghz+ dual core+ processor for the vast majority of games and a decent mid-level graphics card. Your laptop has neither.
#2: Heat. PCSX2 pushes systems so much it generates a LOT of heat... most laptops downclock their graphics/cpu speeds if they get to hot to try and keep the system cool.
There is no way to get playable results with most games on your computer. There are some simpler 2d games (Disgaea, Ar Tonelico, etc) that should work well to great, but other than that there isn't much that can be done.

Koji,
#1 Not all Laptops are bad for PCSX2. Say Mine,
Intel I5 2500k @ 2.4Ghz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560
2 gb ram
runs fine even for 3d games
#2 Heat - Ah Well Its a problem

I didn't say all laptops. My laptop also plays PCSX2 fine for many games (see my CPUID tag). In general though unless you chose a laptop specifically with pcsx2 in mind, you're probably going to end up with less than stellar results.
