I instaled 0.9.8 it why does it show on old version?
Sounds like something went wrong when you updated from 0.97 to 0.98.

Can you please describe exactly how you installed 0.97, and then how did you upgrade to 0.98?

If we can reproduce it, then we can probably fix it (if indeed it's a bug).

regardless though, to get your games db working, first try to clear all your settings (bottom of the "config" menu) and then restart pcsx2 and check if the problem persists, and if that doesn't work (let us know), try the 7z binary too.

I used full instaler when I instaled PCSX2 0.9.7 before, I deinstaled it now and instaled PCSX2 0.9.8 full instaler.

I downloaded binarys and it works OK. It shows all.
if pcsx2 is installed to program files and UAC is enabled, then virtualisation will cause the emulator to look for the database in the virtualstore.
What is UAC?

I am using Windows XP sp3.
my only other idea was the directories configged in the ini file, but the database location is something i would assume is hard coded
It is good now. I delated folder and everything associated with PCSX2 and instaled it again and it works OK now. Tnx for help.

Find your GSdx.ini and set the variable "allowHacks" to "= 1".
Then you can change AA settings in the GSdx config dialog again.

Ah I never knew that is why it was missing from new verisons, Cause I never had problems with AA, other then the border lines that got added, Pcsx2 never crashed on me in all the time I had it, Its just some Cellshaded games ran terrible with AA on.

Thanks for the info, Keep up the great work on the emulator
Cool ! Thanx to all of you....i'm too happy

better graphics..& speedSmileSmile
