PCSX2 version: Official Beta PCSX2 0.9.7.3876m, Official Stable PCSX2 0.9.8.4600.

Specifications: 3326MB RAM (4GB), Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770, Intel Pentium XII Xeon Processor (4 cores - each clocked at 2.33Ghz), Microsoft Windows XP Professional (32-bit)

CPU options: All options are default. No speedhacks used.

Plugins used: ZeroGS 0.97.1, gsdx-sse4-r3878 (hardware and software) (Native resolution), spu2-x-r3878, spu2-x-r4600, gsdx-sse4-r4600 (hardware and software).

Description: Black screen upon start-up. CPU usage is low but fluctuates slightly.

have you got an old copy of ZeroSPU2 you can try?
I just tried putting ZeroSPU2-r-3878 into the PCSX2 0.9.8 folders and tried running it again with no change.

I had tried doing it with 0.9.7, but for some reason the CD plugin was acting up.

Edit: Closed and re-opened 0.9.7, and didn't have the CD plugin error. Although, I had the same results.

Still does not work with SPU2-X 2.0 and r4786.

Edit: Also does not start with ZeroSPU2-r4603.
Despite being labeled as "intro" on the compatibility list now, the game will still not boot with r4803 (which I got with the r4804 download from the buildbot for some reason).

If anyone knows the person who tested this game, could that person post the settings of the tester whom managed to get the game to boot?
Needs "fast CDVD" speedhack to get to that intro.
Weird; if I shut down the game without shutting down PCSX2 and try to run it again, it freezes at about half a second through the Activision logo even though it was the same configuration before. This can be averted with the "Skip MPEG" hack, but it's still weird.

I'm going to do some more poking at it.

Edit: Can't seem to get past the intro at all, even with any of the hacks. Still keep getting stuck at loading where I get:

GIFTAG warning, size exceeded VU memory size 400
GIFTAG warning, size exceeded VU memory size 464

Edit2: As for any more information I could give developers: The game is basically a reskinned "Tony Hawk". It uses the same Tony Hawk's Pro Skater engine with a few modifications. Since the other Tony Hawk games got stuck on the loading screen a while ago, maybe a similar fix could be applied?
