HI new to the emulation thing, just download pcsx 9.9 trying to run any game and I'm getting about 8fps when in the main game. My system is fine I just upgrade October of last year. I would co in the configuration guide but the forum won't let me so I'm posting here for assistance. Also I checked a few youtube videos and none of there solutions work. Thanks in advance.
My Stats are:
AMD Athlom II X4 635 2.90ghz
ram: 4.00gb
64bit vista
ATI Radeon HD 5700 series.
Also I don't know if this matters but I'm running a duel screen set-up.
0.9.9 is an SVN released version, therefore it's not supported. The latest version available for support is 0.9.8.
As for your low FPS, it depends on the game, many games will be slow no matter what your configuration (though none should be that slow). What are your full configurations for the emulator? What plugins? What game?
what would help alot is if you'd let us know what game your attempting to run and also did you look at the compatibility list before trying a game

so I should go find the 9.8. version then?
Any idea as the configuration (plug-ins) I should use.
Here's a .rar of all the plugins that come with the official 0.9.8 version of PCSX2. Just extract it to your plugins folder. All of the plugins are r4600 or slightly earlier.
