Mortal Kombat Armageddon runs in slowmotion during the fights.....
my specs are
intel i7 920 2.67 ghz
g skill 6gb ram
widows 7 ultimate 64 bit
ati radeon saphire 4870HD 1gb

i am using default settings, i am using all speed hacks and the software mode(D3D10) with 6 render threads other settings are default

it removes any graphic glitch.............

you will need a much more powerful CPU if you really want to run it in SW mode
