While I know I would probably never get it perfect(from what I understand there is always a bit of lag or over running when it comes to emulators simply because the systems they are emulating tend to need a lot of parts that are very hard to get right on a computer), at the current speed's it's going I am starting to to feel like I should slam my head into the ground a few times.

In Wild Arms 3 I have two problems:
One where word boxes seem to have a odd glitch effect of letters missing a slice and that sliced section seeming to have been moved over to the left or right a bit.
One where it's running at the max of 5.10 fps any time a character is on screen (in other words small sections where in a short animation characters are not seen on screen is the only time it's going at a normal speed.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this would be nice.

What do the EE/GS% numbers in the game window say when you get slowdowns?

Try ticking the "Native" checkbox in GSdx graphics plugin.
Clicking 'Native' seems to have fixed text boxes

and it is now jumping up to 10 fps

as for EE/GS

is is showing around
EE: (Max)17% (Min) 9%
GS: (Max)110% (Min) 95%
Are you perhaps using software mode?
Its even slow on my pc(about30fps) in software mode. The games is quite GS heavy so using your GPU is advisable. I dont know what GPU you have though.
I have been changing that around for a while now, about a minute ago I changed it to.

"Direct 3D 10 (Hardware)"

hm, for GPU do you mean:
NVIDA GeForce G100

Also of note:
fps went up to 30's(max) down to 10's(min) after I switched to Direct 3D 10 (Hardware)
EE is mostly sticking to the 20's
and GS is mostly 10 to 15
That is a very very slow graphics card unfortunately.

You can try enabling the Hacks panel in GSdx and setting Skipdraw hack to 1-3 (GSdx > Hacks subsection in the configuration guide):

Hm, is there any graphics cards that you would suggest as a upgrade, recently I have been looking into getting a few parts replaced on this computer so that it works better for gaming.

Already done.
Depends on your budget, anything like a 9600GT/9800GT or higher would be great already.
That and they can be had for 50 bucks right now. It will still be slow on those if you try run at higher then native res that's one of the few my 8800GT can't really run at high res.
Skipdraw will let you run it at higher resolution Tongue2
