I'm newly registered to the forums but have been here before and have found a lot of useful information here, thanks to all those that have contributed. I am super excited with the newest release of 0.9.8 and all the configuration options. My question is, what would be a good configuration for my system specs. I couldn't find a config guide for 0.9.8. Any help would be appreciated.


Specs:
Intel Core i3 CPU 550 @ 3.20 GHz 3.19 GHz
4.00GB RAM
Windows 7 64-bit
ATI Radeon HD 5450

You could read the configuration guide for 9.7(its mostly the same), that said there is no "one size fits all" configuration. The best settings vary greatly based on game and very little on actual hardware.

Oh ok, well thank you so much. I'm really trying to help my fiance get the computer set back up after a nasty virus. So when reinstalling programs we found out about the new 0.9.8. Thanks to all the people who bring us PCSX2 I really love the program as my PS2 died a couple years ago.
