Full Version: FPS dips

I've been playing Star Ocean: Till the End of Time for a few nights now, and while my framerate is usually bang on 60 FPS, I keep getting dips down to about 40-45 with semi-regular intervals.

I'm running GSdx DX11, 3x internal resolution, filtering fully ticked, bob deinterlacing.

My system is as follows:
Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.8GHz
2x 5850 in Crossfire (though I know that doesn't help)
4GB PC3-12800 DDR3

I've tried both with and without speedhacks (when they're on I only use the recommended ones along with +33% cyclerate).
did u use native?
this could be side effect of AMD cool n' quiet .
Try disabling it if not done yet.

Haven't tried, but with my system I don't see why I should have to.

It's off, one of the first things I disable when I build a new rig - especially if it's overclocked.
PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings? What do the EE/GS% numbers in game window say when you get slowdowns?
