I am running pcsx2 without issues but when I start MGS3 it just stays at the menu and if I select "new game" it just gives me the "press start" screen again and spits me right back to the main menu. Please, your help is greatly appreciated.

MGS3 uses circle button for menu selections.

Not to get off-topic, but this thread gave me a good laugh.
