it works on lion

you're just doing it wrong
I use Lion and it works great for me, even better than before.
Are you logged in as an administrator? I see a "Permission Denied" in your code.

Other than that, just use the installation instructions and try again.
it totally works on lion. better in fact as you have a newer version of opengl (3.2 instead of 3.0) which will fix a lot of sound synching and fps issues.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong... but could anyone provide the right way to do it? Am I downloading it from the correct website, could you provide a link? Also, I am the administrator, there are no other accounts besides mine.
Try checking the permissions(e.g. Get info->Sharing & Permissions), sometimes it happens they are set only to root user(even if there are no other accounts, you don't run in priviliged user mode(root) so you could get permission denied errors)

I tried changing the permissions of PCSX2 to include "Me", and "Everyone" having Read & Write privileges, they were previously Read Only. Restarted, and I'm getting the same error Sad. Might there be anything that I am missing? Thanks.
