I am using an ATI 4870X2 with the latest version of Catalyst. There are no DirectX10 options under the renderer. I have tried reinstalling and running PCSX2 under admin and will attempt to reinstall my drivers next. Any other suggestions for fixing this problem would appreciated.
What OS? DX10+ is only for Vista/7
Easy.Update DirectX to latest version and Vista to Service pack 2
As far as I could recall, that DX10 is now under the option of DX11 (Combined)
Nope, DX1x is one and same code, it shows 10 or 11 depend on what you have;P, it doesn't show at all if your system doesn't meet reqs, and by first post in GSdx thread you can clearly see all requirements. In case of Vista you need at least SP1 and the update that abdo123 linked. Win7 doesn't need anything special, win XP will never have official dx10/11 support and any unofficial patches simply doesn't work as people wish they would
. Ofc latest dx update(june 2010) is pretty much always required.

Reread the thread miseru99 you need SP2 not SP1
Oh yeah, I guess that this update does require sp2, through the first post in GSdx is a bit confusing with
Code:
Make sure you have at least Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista installed.
@miseru99 that's what I meant
@abdo123 no need to bite my head off and I know the 4000 series is DX10, but they combined DX10/11 together or it's a script that chooses the max. DX u can have according to your hardware.
Computer hardware is my hobby so I know what I'm talking about

i just thought you didn't know that he have 4xxx series
and GSDX don't show DX11 if you originally don't support it
