Game feels like it's in slow motion. Can someone help me turn off "actionmovie-cliche" mode? First time running PCSX2. I've taken a look at the setup thread and I don't know how to proceed further in speeding up the game. Computer runs (other) PS2, Wii, Gamecube games just fine. It's just specifically Tales of the Abyss I have trouble with. (especially with battle, transitions, and the world map)

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium x64 SP2
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 840 ~3.2GHz (Quad)
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
RAM: 4gb

Tales of the Abyss requires a pretty fast PC to get full speed all of the time, faster than your PC...

There is a plus side though, the latest SVN releases have a new MTVU hack that works very well with tri/quad cores and this game especially. Just go to the development section of the forum and click on the thread that mentions daily SVN builds and download the newest version there, then enable the MTVU hack in the speed hacks section of the menu.

(edit) Side note: Why are you using a deinterleave for this game? It plays progressively, having a deinterleave on for it will very badly degrade the graphics (literally throwing out half of the pixels)
This game is little hitch fps on here and there so for me, i set ansycronous mode for spu-x plugin and this game doesnt like vu cycle stealing (may crash in game) but MTVU hacks running well and give boost FPS in my dual core cpu.

I saw it was ok to have in the setup tutorial. It looks fine for me.
