I have an Xbox Controller Router that allows me to use my xbox controller on video games.

Is it reccomendable for me to 3 way configure it? (Xpadder to configure the xbox buttons, psx2 aligned with the controls) or will it be buggy at best?

Just use lilypad plugin....

If the gamepad is recognized by Windows, it should work with PCSX2 alone.
