Im having an issue with the opening cutscene of Final Fantasy X-2. I just finished FFX with no issues in game it ran very good. When I start a new game on FFX-2 the openning cutscene is 1. Flickering nonstop 2. the bottom half of the screen is black 3. the half that isnt black has vertical black lines that are very thin and sparse. Anyone have this issue? Or suggestions I tried changing various settings in emulation options but nothing seems to work. Thanks
You'll have to use software rendering (F9 while in-game to toggle) and also add interlacing (F5 while in-game).
Grandia Xtreme has that issue as well, so I guess several games are affected.
thanks for the help it fixed that issue
however 6 fps is very difficult to play on XD

specs
pentium D 2.66
2gig DDR2 667
nvidia 9800gtx

its kind of a bottleneck ><
Press F9 again after the movie is played to switch back to hardware mode...
Yea, with that machine you won't have much fun with PCSX2.
The CPU is good for 2D games but that's it.
Well I didn't have an issue with ffx kingdom hearts or kh2 all of which ran decently

Umm, ok? This game is different than those games.
@Natt FFX-2 was released 3 years before kh2 so its not a hardware issue
Im aware, I was able to fix the issues with the cutscenes and it runs decent when its not in one of the 'high quality' cutscenes however now am getting garbage audio ><' any suggestions

FFX-2 handles its FMVs much differently than most from a hardware perspective; not sure what point you're trying to make with the age of the games.
