Found some values in the cutscenes with your method: (searching 0 when blur, 255 when no blur)

The blur didn't dissapear after freezing them to 255, the text did thou.
I think it would be a much better idea to use a debugger to find the blur effect itself in the game's code, and find the secondary blur from there.

Thnx Kolrath. Using your information I have created a file named 951555A0.pnach with the following lines:
comment=Disgaea: remove blur fix
patch=1,EE,20453F5B,byte,000000FF
which fixed my blurring problem.
