Cool n Quiet maybe?

Yeah that was my next thought. So maybe the OP can download and use CPU-Z, run it while running PCSX2 and see if the processor frequency fluctuates a lot or not.
so I download and run CPU-Z...and then what should I check for?
I noticed that during some FMVs, the core voltage is lower than normal.
Check if the frequency of the processor stays at 3,2 Ghz or goes lower than it (while running PCSX2 and getting the slowdowns)
Where in CPU-Z do I see the frequency of the processor? Is it the "Core Speed"?
Yes, it is core speed, it should always read 3200mhz and noting else (aside from 1-10mhz fluctuation)

It's at 801.6 MHz with a Multiplier of 4 Sad
