I'm about to purchase a new laptop. I want to know if the specs are good enough to run the emulator before I buy it though.
The specs of the laptop are:
CPU: 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM processor 2.20 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.10 GHz
RAM: 8GB3 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 525M (128-bit) 1GB (Quad) & Intel HD Graphics/HD Graphics 3000 with up to 1.6GB Dynamic Video Memory
I know I have enough RAM and CPU power. My only concern would be the GPU.
GPU Specs:
CUDA Cores: 96
Processor Clock: Up to 1200 MHz
Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec): up to 9.6
Memory clock (MHz): 900
Standard Memory Config: DDR3
Memory Interface Width: 128-bit
Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec): 28.8
Supports: NVIDIA Optimus Technology
Hardware Video Decode Acceleration
NVIDIA Verde Drivers
NVIDIA PhysX-Ready
NVIDIA CUDA Technology
Microsoft DirectX 11
I can't find the Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU specs.
Would this be enough to run the emulator or would you consider a better GPU?
