I can complete the temple to the part where Yuna says she has become a summoner then it shows like 20 people around her and then the game freezes.

Im running on Mac no bootcamp

processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Running on Lion 10.7.3

If the game freezes at a specific point I would suggest looking for a savestate that you can use to load the game past that certain point. I think there's a forum thread for savestates somewhere on this forum, just search for it. I'm not sure how to load the savestates to pcsx2mac so I can't help you there.
