Thanks again Synce;3
Made a final version of
WS ICO Patcher possibly works even better than before as I tweaked some things, and added an info about current status:3.
I feel special now
Just to confirm, it works flawlessly with ntsc-u now
updated patch thread, also updated widescreen helper patch files, still have a few more games to add, just been really busy lately but i'll get around to it.
The Project Zero patch doesn't work for me neither through "Enable Cheats" with PCSX2,
or through "Profiles" with Widescreen Helper.
Through "Enable Cheats", PCSX2 states that cheats have been found, and loaded,
but there is no effect.
Toggle "Aspect Ratio" between 4:3, 16:9 and "Fit to Window/Screen" makes no difference.
And I'm using r5288.
What version are you using?
The following widescreen patches have been added to my first post:
BLACK (SLUS_21376)
Killer 7 (SLUS_21154)
Ridge Racer 5 (SLUS_20002)
The PNACH files can be found
here.
EDIT: I know that BLACK has a built-in widescreen mode, but it is only "vert-". Here is the proper "hor+" widescreen mode.

I'm using r5248. Aspect Ratio should be set to "16:9". Are you playing a new game or loading a save-game? i havent been able to check if the patch is also working on later levels ....
I don't know if Tecmo could've done something while porting the game for Europe but I can confirm my JP patch works on the first and last chapter of the JP version. Other than that, if the CRC's originally matched I'm not sure what the problem could be

I'm playing a new game.
16:9 only stretches the display.
Enabling the Y-patch makes no difference.

This is strange. i tested the patch again and again using other languages and it works on my machine. Can you provide a logfile from the console ?
Can anybody else confirm the Project Zero patch is working?
