Silent assassin and contracts also work on the the PAL E versions of the game, same crc.
One thing about them, the map screen, scopes, binoculars and looking through keyholes still have a 4:3 overlay. Are you able to fix these?

Well, it wouldn't be the first widescreen patch that works fine in PCSX2 but not on a real console, emulation will never be perfect... BUT you're right, the issue was caused by the patching process (I forgot to change the first digit of the patches to '2'
). I can confirm both the Hitman 2 and Hitman Bloodmoney patches work great on a PS2!
@devina40: Please replace the old NTSC memory patches with the ports of ElHecht's PAL patches

Hello.Can someone please port the widescreen fix+hack of Maken Shao from NTSC-J to PAL?I only own the PAL version and I was hoping to give it a shot.

Ported the Hitman Contracts patch by ElHecht to NTSC-U, then realized it's the exact same patch (values, addresses and crc). I simply added this info to ElHechts patch, so it can be included in the NTSC-U archive
I also ported nemesis2000's GTA Vice City version 1.40 to version 2.01. Unfortunately it uses different values, so I had to do some guesswork... but it seems to work fine (tested in PCSX2 and on a PS2). No clue what value 3 and value 4 from his patch do, but still included them.

The patch works but probably shouldn't be in the patch archive because it's not a standalone PNACH, it requires hyakki's "Widescreen Helper":

its because the game is hardcoded for 4:3 and also that the game overwrites original elf code in memory with data from iso file
and the fastest and easiest way is to patch whole iso file
