I'll up screens and patch in a few mins.
First non-square game to get a perma patch working btw
Also, Im trying to fix that shadow bug where shadows are being rendered on top of the player, reducing the player's alpha to 0, (anywhere a shadow hits the player is invisible) I did get the shadows working, but made all the environment geom semi-transparent lol, you could kinda see through walls etc.

Edit:
16:9 Digital Devil Saga Patch
Code:
comment=DDS-PAL-Shadow Fix & Widescreen Hack (16:9)
gametitle=Digital Devil Saga
patch=1,EE,20328864,word,3FD3A06D
Just to correct this, the value is wrong, and the widescreen image is slight too narrow. Played around with it, and this is almost pixel perfect:
3FC6E2B5
So for the ntsc version the cheat would be:
Code:
patch=1,EE,203245E4,word,3FC6E2B5
and PAL is:
Code:
patch=1,EE,20328864,word,3FC6E2B5
Maybe you could correct your original posts for all visitors from google.
^ Thanks for the correction.
I assume Digital Devil Saga 2 is fine?
I don't have Digital Devil Saga 2 yet, so I have not tried it. Maybe when I'm done with this one
Someone also made shadow fixes for DDS1+2 and Nocture, simply by disabling all shadows. Considering the alternatives (software mode or broken shadows) that's definitely what I'm going with.
EDIT:
Also, I screwed up my first post, posted the correct value, but the code was with the original one. doh.
Thanks for looking into this! Would you mind posting some screenshots as well?
