Code:
gametitle=Metal Gear Solid 3 - Subsistence Disc 1 (Limited Edition, SLUS-21359)
comment=Force 60 FPS
patch=1,EE,001D5AD8,extended,00000000
patch=1,EE,001D6DB8,extended,00000001
patch=1,EE,001D6DBC,extended,00000000
Code:
gametitle=Metal Gear Solid 3 - Subsistence Disc 1 (Limited Edition, SLUS-21359)
comment=Force 30 FPS
patch=1,EE,001D5AD8,extended,00000040
patch=1,EE,001D6DB8,extended,00000002
patch=1,EE,001D6DBC,extended,00000001
We all know that this game needs a powerful CPU to achieve full speed at 30FPS, so with the 60 FPS code enabled we need a MUCH MORE powerful CPU.
According to some testing, the EE needs at least 20% overclock to work perfectly or else the emulated PS2 can't reach 60 FPS.
The main speed problem with the game are the cutscenes, that's because the game runs at 60 FPS ONLY while these are playing. That's why I included the 30 FPS cheat (gameplay original values), with this code enabled the cutscenes are a lot less CPU demanding and the game is more enjoyable with not so powerful hardware.
u mean i can play the actual 60fps in gameplay and cutscene or only cutscenes?
Thanks for all the hard work supporting the community
I would like to request a widescreen patch for Flatout (NTSC) and Monster Attack (PAL)
thank you.
Gregory Horror Show is now playable with recent PCSX2 builds, so let's try patching that.
Please note there's only a PAL and NTSC-J version, no NTSC-U version.
I would like to see these games in 16:9:
//NTSC J
Kamen Rider Seigi no Keifu
Kamen Rider 555
Kamen Rider Blade
Kamen Rider Hibiki
Kamen Rider Kabuto
Ultraman
Ultraman Fighting Evolution 3
Ultraman Nexus
Ultraman Fighting Evolution Rebirth
Uchuu Keiji Tamashii: The Space Sheriff Spirits
Kinnikuman Muscle Grand Prix Max 2
Chou-jikuu Yousai Macross
//PAL
Sword of the Samurai
//NTSC U
Lupin the 3rd: Treasure of the Sorcerer King
I've tried this but I can't really get anything. Could someone please try to make 21:9 (2560x1080) patches for GTA Liberty City Stories and GTA Vice City Stories? Thanks in advance.
Just so other people looking to do this don't do redundant work, what have you tried so far?
I didn't really get far. I've tried following the guide on how to make the .pnach files but I can barely understand how to make it happen. Most useful thing I found was the initial value that should be changed over at ps2wide, but I just suck at this.
Not really supposed to be requesting non 16:9 ratio. At least that's what I was told when I requested a 16:10 one
