Great, specially for the game Ben Hur: Blood of Braves, thank you very much.
Best regards.
I'm trying to run the pnach file for Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater NTSC U on the ps2 with codebreaker 9.2.
So far its not working for me.
Has anybody encountered this issue?
Master Code:
Using the one that is in Codebreaker 9.2, confirmed it works with available cheats.
gametitle=MGS3 NTSC U SLUS_209.15
comment=MGS3 (NTSC-U) Widescreen Patches by Acem
// 16:9
patch=1,EE,2020247c,extended,3F400000
(maybe supply more information, are you using the codebreaker.elf, is it patched to allow external cheats, or you using codebreaker.elf from the disk................don't know much about it, except, the mastercode plays a part in where the patch information is located and how it is used)
(codebreaker uses a cheat engine, Â the widescreen codes are based on the gameshark engine, which open ps2 loader mimics with ps2rd, I believe that information is correct................so do you now see the problem)
(off hand, Crimson Sea 2's widescreen patch would not work from the pnach patcher, it would only work using the cheat engine of ps2rd in opl, for that reason, a patch can still be good if it doesn't work with one method, that makes things more trick. I'm sure one or two other games worked that way too, let me think....................jak 2 and hotshots golf 2 would only allow controller remapper patches from the pnach progan when apply to the iso)
(Ratchet and Clank Patches ............ again thanks, I assumed you shared the information so a noob like me could follow along and get the patch for ourselves, until you finally finished what you were doing...............I was wrong on both accounts, I don't know that much about it, but, I will grab your updated patches and use the cheat engine of opl to apply them to the game.............wow all 4 games too.............I filled up my 500 gig drive already, with less than 2 gigs of free space left, so I have the best of most games for it on there, that is ratchet and clank 2 and 3, the rest are not so good (just like I do not have Onimusha 1 Warlords, but I have the rest of the games, I did for the a bunch of other, in series, titles too)
Archive updated.
Great work on the Ratchet patches, they look so complicated!
Thanks Arapapa for fulfilling the Worms 3D request.

Requesting Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny (NTSC),called Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Tag Force Evolution in Europe and Japan.
It is a port of Tag Force for the PSP wich is widescreen, so it shouldnt be too hard to achieve.

Thanks for all these patches, arapapa!
If you want, please take a look at "Deus Ex - The Conspiracy" (SLUS-20111).
It's a quite decent port and the only way to play this masterpiece with a controller. I've tried to patch it myself, unfortunately without success...
EDIT: Oh well, turns out I've asked you exactly that already
two years ago, so nevermind
Â
Are the Unreal engine 1 games really that problematic? Or did simply nobody else try to patch them? At least "Deus Ex" and "Rune - Viking Warlord" have been requested multiple times...
