Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by .elf? Do you mean the .iso of the game?
You should have on disc or in iso file a file with name "
SLUS_205.52". That's the elf file

Are there three other lines in the enable code you are using besides the one you posted?
It's ok. The sooner this stuff pops up, and gets taken care of, the better.
@PsxFan107
Ok, I tried that master code and I got the same results. Recognizes the widescreen but freezes just before the main hub.
No, that enable code was just the one line.
However, there were initially 3 other lines when I used omniconvert to convert the enable code I found online at codetwink. It resulted in a raw/unencrypted code which was:
Code:
FE129B51 800813BF
000FFFFE 00000193
000FFFFF 00000193
9013BA48 00832021
But when I tried that entire 4 lines of enable code in Codebreaker, it freezes codebreaker itself.
Anyway, thanks for all your help.
So I was trying to get GTA LCS NTSC U pnach widescreen code to work with Codebreaker 9.2 .elf but no luck!
I know the pnach code is a long one! But I double and tripled checked that I entered it properly in Codebreaker.
Once I start the game it just goes to a black screen.
So far I've gotten most of the ps2 library to work with pnach files and Codebreaker 9.2 .elf with the exception of
Manhunt NTSC U
MGS Snake Eater NTSC U
Resident Evil Outbreak NTSC U version 2
Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 NTSC U
Has anybody else attempted this?

I don't suppose you could also test out Ratchet: Deadlocked on an actual ps2, could you? I've tried the current patch by Psxfan and it doesn't seem to work for me.
Sorry, I can't test the patches for R&C 1 and Deadlocked ATM, otherwise I would've already done it...
But I think it's easier to use PS2RD instead of Codebreaker, at least for testing. And maybe you can start by finding out which codes cause the freezing (by successively commenting out different parts of the patch)?
Best regards
@PsxFan107
I'm using codebreaker version 9.2
@No.47
I hadn't thought of that. I will try that, when I get some free time.
So does anyone have an .elf file of GTA Vice City 1.40 or 2.01? I need the .elf file of either of them, not 3.00.
Someone IMed me an .elf file of 3.00. I like the effort, but I don't need it.
Until then, I'll put it on requests.
