I also was trying to run this patch you made but it seems that ps2rd is not matching the .pnach to the game. Is the .pnach number incorrect?

Could you attempt a widescreen patch for Resident Evil 4 NTSC U.
I know I have requested it before and some would disagree it needs one, but I don't think it has true widescreen like the gamecube version.
For the ps2 version it is only anamorphic widescreen on a 4:3 aspect ratio. My tv does not have a zoom function so it would be nice to have a true widescreen patch.
On a side note I have tested Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube with Swiss to force a wider screen display beyond 16:9, and for that game it looks fantastic. Not sure if the PS2 version would benefit better with something like that in addition to a black bar removal.
I will try to post some images of the gamecube version if you are interested to see what I mean.

lolwhat? RE4 on ps2 has two modes one like in gamecube version other like every other widescreen game on ps2

Do you know if it'd be possible to unstretch the head portraits on the right side of the screen in P3 and P4?
It's not a big deal, I just think it looks a bit awful.

I tried the NTSC patch for Mission Impossible. The spikey polygons seems to be gone, but unfortunately geometry isn't being drawn on the edges of the screen now.
