When I first got the emulator up and running, the game speed was normal.

Now whenever I turn it on it goes in slow motion. I tried changing some settings and it suddenly ran fast motion. Then after resetting the settings it goes back to being really slow motion.

I know my comp specs aren't bad.

Vaio F series
Win 7
64 bit.
Processor i7
Nvidia GeForce 540
1080 Full HD

Any insight would be appreciated.
what game?
Revision? Game? Settings?
All my games. i'm only playing Final Fantasy X and 12 though.

The GS is 25 ish
FPS is 25 ish
EE is 99 ish
Umm what do you mean by revision.

When I first got it running, it was set at pretty high stuff. Audio settings were above normal and graphics were at 1080 and it all ran fine and normal.

Once I left it on and my comp went into sleep mode and then the sound started getting laggy if that has to do with it. From then on it ran slow.
By revision I mean the version you are using.. and as your using a laptop, try going to control panel and set power options to high performance...
and for better results you could try using latest SVN and enable MTVU hack...
is that a laptop?
are you using "power saver" mode?
are you running in batteries?
Well I was plugged in when it went too fast and slow. Although when it isn't plugged in it probably would be running slow like my DS emulator.

It is a laptop, but it should have been on balanced.

EDIT: the version is 0.9.7 r3878

The highest power settings for my comp is "Balanced" apparently.
i think you been messed-up in the config
may we show us your configs.
and addition during "slow" may we also check your laptop temperatures using "CoreTemp"
I use speed fan for temperature monitoring is that okay?

How do I show you my configs? print screen?
alt+print screen then paste on "paint" or "photoshop" or "paint shop pro"
