Can you configure anything else? Can you start a game?
Sorry about this post. It should have been here: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Please-in...ion-2-Disc

Hi there I get this "please insert a playstation or playstation 2 format disc screen."

A: Using Lion (10.7.5) and tried to run iso image. I have created my own iso like this:
1. create master cdr with disk utility
2. convert to iso like this: hdiutil makehybrid -iso -joliet -o tekken5.iso tekken5.cdr

B: Run CD/DVD

Both without results and no PS gaming on Mac. So you would assume there would not be a reason that I get the please insert disc screen..

Where did I go wrong?

Check the small note in the first post ^_^
Done I have followed your tip in the small note.

Now the PCSX2 crashes and the bash tells me this:

EE DECI2 Manager version 0.06 Feb 7 2002 16:41:20
CPUID=2e20, BoardID=0, ROMGEN=2002-0207, 32M

The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'GLXBadCurrentWindow'.
(Details: serial 29 error_code 165 request_code 0 minor_code 11)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

When does it crash?
Ok so maybe I'm doing something wrong.

i did everything this guide says... everything but when i try to open pcsx2 terminal opens and says:

dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/local/pcsx2/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.0.dylib
Referenced from: /Volumes/PCSX2 0.9.6/pcsx2.app/Contents/Resources/pcsx2/./pcsx2
Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap: 5
logout

[Process completed]

and when I tired the X11 part it said the ./pcsx2 didnt exist or something....

I JUST WANNA PLAY PS2 ON MY MAC Sad
I've done all of this multiples times. I'm new to all of this and have been trying to figure it out for days. I just bought Tales of the Abyss and later found out that my ps3 doesn't even support ps2 compatibility. So I've come to the conclusion that I've wasted money on the game and the memory card as well. I've been down right pissed about the whole situation. I've redone it like three times. Getting different errors. I don't know if I'm missing plugins or what, but it's driving me nuts. What do I do when I put the disc in my macbook? Sometimes it doesn't even say that I have a disc in the drive. Help?
