For the record, is your PCSX2 called PCSX2.app or PCSX2 0.9.7.app?
Having trouble when I enter the ./pcsx2 command. My xterm is telling me
./pscx2: Command not found.
Any particular reason this is happening? I followed directions 1-6 in the guide to the dot

Question: Can you post a screenshot or copy-paste of the Xterm?

Is the PCSX2.app inside your applications folder?
bash-3.2$ cd /applications/pcsx2.app/contents/macos
bash-3.2$ sudo tsch
sudo: tsch: command not found
bash-3.2$ sudo tcsh
[Macintosh-002332de5d2a
csx2.app/Contents/MacOS] root# ./pcsx2
./pcsx2: Command not found.

Strange, try to run just pcsx2 instead of ./pcsx2 (you still need root)
