According to the compatibility page, AC0 should be playable, its not working properly with the default settings however. Do I need to have any particular set up for it to work?

In AC0 you can get into the game, but no matter what settings you use, collision detection is messed up, large targets (like the bombers in the opening mission) and the ground can simply be flown through. However, turning your renderer to Software mode does fix the majority of visual bugs (F9 is the default to switch between HW and SW renderers).
