my direction button don't work after getting hit by the 2nd enemy in the tv world...i just fall down n cannot get back up i am using lily pad 0.9.4

i'm fighting the first enemy in the game when you go to sleep after eating dinner with the nanako and her father. after i do one attack I can't do anything else i just stand there and the only thing that works is pressing triangle but all it does is bring up something that says "Rush Stop"
