you are greatly overreacting by saying it's perfect
I tested it thouroughly and in fact nearly all sound is missing
the only sounds that work are bgm and standard fight opening dialogues
sound during cutscenes are missing except those where thereonly is bgm like the opening.
noises during fighting are missing no screaming girls or sound when you attack etc not even the air vents only bgm
menu sounds are missing, normally there are soundswhen you select something, there's only bgm
and of course for most story mode fights opening dialogue is missing asthere the standards aren't used but instead often short cutscenes play
only bgm and standard fight opening dialogue and the phrases when you win play.

WOW! i didn't know that the game is finally working! on PCSX2 DOA 2 Hardcore is one of my favourite fighters on PS2 . Just in time i was having the urge on playing DOA again!. It's shame that everything Herr2222 listed are true . It would be perfect if someone could make the missing voices and sounds working. DOA2 Ultimate is the best version but that's only on xbox. Too bad though my Xbox died years ago so yeah there's no way to play it ever again.
Thank you very much Benji229 for making a pnach fix for the game. It would be nice if you could fix the missing voices and sounds problem as well

The missing sound fx are a result of the patch which makes the game work unfortunately.

Who made the patch? Is it a port of pseudo's patch for the NTSC-J version?
