The broken fonts are basically a natural consequence of the upscaling. it's not really a bug.. but who knows. maybe they might be able to create some sort of new upscaling hack that better addresses the issue.

it gets in-game for a moment. it drops down to the 1.36 fps and spams "Gif Unit - GS packet size exceeded VU memory size!". i don't have the patience to find out if it's actually playable
