my 8600GTS isn't either so what's your point?
FIY it runs GSDX in DX11 mode just fine^^
but what bositman said is sadly true... I wish they'd just release the next DirectX SDK with DX11(not the beta!) ^^

Really? That's not what Kabooz said, but I know DX11 mode is still in alpha.

and of course the normal GSDX requirements ^^

The GeForce 250 GTS is a DirectX 10 graphics card. It doesn't support DirectX 10.1 or DirectX 11. Just look at the
Nvidia site (you must click at "Specifications").
But i wanted to report some bugs with ePSXe 1.7.0 and PCSX2 0.9.6 if using GSdx revision 1763 (SSE2).
ePSXe und PCSX2: GSdx doesn't save the settings if there is no ../inis folder. This bug doesn't seems obviously, because PCSX2 is creating the inis folder after the first starting.
ePSXe: The games are freezing often, if pressing ESC to pause them. The chance to freeze any game is ~50%.
ePSXe: After a successful pause, continuing any game (Run -> Continue), crashes the game. The same happens if trying to save a state (Run -> Save State (F1) -> Slot X) or load a state (Run -> Load State (F3) -> Slot X). Maybe the saving and loading of a state doesn't crash the game, but both funtions must "continue" the game too.
The both last ePSXe bugs was tested with Breath of Fire 3, Mega Man X4, Mega Man X5 and Mega Man X6. I haven't installed the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package, i have just copied the msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll to the ePSXe and PCSX2 main folder.
My configuration:
Operating system: Windows XP Professional SP3
DirectX: 9.26.1590 (march 2009)
Graphics card: GeForce 8600 GT with forceware 190.62
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 3800+ @ 2.0 GHz
It doesn't matter the features gabest is thinking about supporting at the moment in directx 11 are supported for direct x 10 cards. I can run the direct x 11 mode on my 8800Gt however this may change in the future.

The GTS 250 is not a DX11 GPU.
Neither is the NV8000 and NV9000 series, yet theyre working?
Because the DX11 plugin doesn't use anything truly DX11.
Not yet but if he only uses up to Compute shaders 4.0 DX10 cards will still be able to handle it despite it being a DX11 feature.
I'm using a laptop with chip
[email protected] and onboard graphic card Mobile intel GM4500 HD (cantiga-GM) updated the lastest driver from Intel website. When I use PCSX with these gsdx plugins on mode DX9, everything works ok. But when I play on mode DX10, the system crash with graphic card error.
I read on Intel website that my graphic card supports DX10. Does anybody know about this error?
Try updating to the latest GSdx, the DX10 support in GMA cards is bad at best so it's no wonder it behaves like that.
Just a quick question.
How easy would it be to implement post processing effects such as those found in MESS and MAME.
I'm a particular fan of the Aperture2x4bg_Aaron effect and wanted to ascertain its feasibility in PCSX2?
Thanks.
